UX/UI Design
A user's journey should be simple and intuitive. Often as designers we find ourselves working within boundaries to meet the needs of the product owners without compromising the user experience.
I have experience taking projects from ideas in the ether to finished products with a great user base and simple analytics. My skill set includes; planning and wire-framing, product pitches and prototyping, pixel perfect designing, and extensive QA and dev support.
Though I do not believe good design comes from the design tools alone, they are crucial in our process. Lately I have been using Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Paintcode and Dropbox in my workflow but I am also fluent in the Adobe Creative Suites.
STARZ

Throughout the last five years I have been working on producing digital media platforms for STARZ Entertainment. In that time I have been through two different redesigns and worked with many outside agencies and development teams. I have seen the team grow from the ground up and our product become a vital source of revenue for the organization. Currently my role is to art direct the iOS and Android applications and manage day to day tasks between myself and contractors to improve and enhance the app.

When STARZ was acquired by Lionsgate late last year my team acted as an internal agency to create their spanish content focused media product Pantaya. We designed and executed development more than 7 platforms.

I am constantly using my spare time to ideate on the future of STARZ products and sharing with my team what I think would be innovative directions. Often I will spend time doing competitive analysis and research to stay up to date on best common practices and UX/UI trends.
Prototyping and Wireframing
Planning for a big project is crucial. This process lays the groundwork for ideas to become useable products. I have experience in information architecture, wire-framing, and prototyping. It excites me to use micro interactions and animations to move stakeholders to go down a certain design path. After Effects is my tool of choice because it has a plethora of animation features to get my design intent in front of people.
